On November 15, 2022, Brenda spoke about the use of SUE in the planning and design phase at the ASCE Infrastructure Report Card Press Conference. Every project that breaks ground involves some degree of risk – to property and tools, to human safety, and to budgets and profits.

As a spokesperson for excavators over 26 years, I can liken bidding a construction project to that of playing pin the tail on the donkey. You want the excavator to pin the tail dead center on the donkey’s bottom, all the while he is blindfolded and cannot see.
